Equipment

  • 1 Food Processor or Blender
  • 1 Handheld mixer or whisk
  • 1 mixing bowl (medium)
  • 1 Measuring Cup
  • 1 spoon or spatula

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup strawberry yogurt
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened at room temperature

Instructions

  • Prepare the Fresh Strawberries: Start by washing 1 cup of fresh strawberries thoroughly under cold running water.
Remove the stems and any blemished spots, then slice them into smaller pieces to make blending easier.
Using fresh, ripe strawberries will give your dip a naturally sweet flavor and vibrant color, making it visually appealing as well as delicious.
  • Puree the Strawberries: Place the sliced strawberries into a food processor or blender.
Blend on high speed until the mixture becomes a smooth, velvety puree.
Make sure there are no large chunks remaining, but don’t over-blend into a liquid—aim for a thick consistency that will hold well in the dip. Set the puree aside for later use.
  • Soften the Cream Cheese: Take 8 ounces of cream cheese and leave it at room temperature for about 20-30 minutes prior to mixing.
Softened cream cheese ensures a smooth, creamy dip without any lumps.
Using a hand-held mixer or a whisk, beat the cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl until it reaches a light, airy texture.
  • Incorporate the Yogurt: Measure 1 cup of strawberry-flavored yogurt and add it to the whipped cream cheese gradually.
Continue mixing with the hand-held mixer on medium speed until the two ingredients are fully combined.
The yogurt adds a subtle tang and creaminess, enhancing the flavor while also increasing protein content for a more nutritious dip.
  • Fold in the Strawberry Puree: Gently stir in the previously prepared strawberry puree with a spatula or spoon. Fold it slowly to ensure the puree is evenly distributed throughout the cream cheese and yogurt mixture. Avoid over-stirring to maintain a light, fluffy texture. The result should be a smooth, pink-hued dip with a fresh strawberry aroma.
  • Chill the Dip: Transfer the dip into a serving bowl and cover it with plastic wrap or an airtight lid.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together and the dip to firm slightly.
Chilling also enhances the creamy texture, making it perfect for scooping with fruit or crackers.
  • Serve and Enjoy: Once chilled, serve the Strawberry Yogurt Dip with fresh fruit such as apple slices, grapes, or berries.
You can also use it as a topping for crackers, cookies, or even pancakes.
Garnish with a few small strawberry pieces on top for an extra pop of color and freshness.
  • Storage Tip: Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Stir gently before serving to restore the creamy consistency.
This dip is ideal for meal prep, easy snacking, or as a quick addition to any dessert table.
